Kitana Necklaces are handmade by Zambian artisans in the South Luangwa Valley & inspired by the African bush.  They are made of natural driftwood beads, freshwater pearl and abalone shell.

    Dsenyo is in partnership with Mulberry Mongoose, an artisan initiative in South Luangwa Valley, in rural Zambia neighboring their Malawian partners. These artisans craft jewelry inspired by the African bush, its rich and diverse flora and fauna. They use locally and ethically sourced materials, such as guinea fowl feather, freshwater pearl, wooden debris, tagua and snare wires.   Mulberry Mongoose is committed to giving back to the community and supporting conservation efforts.

    Dsenyo (dee-SEN-yo, meaning "design") is a social enterprise and fair trade company that partners with artisan communities to empower women in Brazil, Malawi, and Zambia. Marissa Perry Saints founded the company in 2009 to celebrate local design and create job opportunities. Today, Dsenyo provides employment and trainings to more than 100 artisans, helping to build a global tribe of entrepreneurs, artisans, and individuals who care about sustainability and style.
